What's New in AmenityResy: Self-Serve Signup, Shared Amenities, and Booking Fees

A roundup of the features we shipped this quarter — the ones that take AmenityResy from "amenity booking software" to a complete operations layer for residential portfolios of any size.

We Shipped a Lot This Quarter

When we started AmenityResy, the goal was narrow: make booking a gym slot as simple as ordering coffee. The product is still that — but a lot of buildings asked for more, and we listened.

Here's what's new.

Self-Serve Signup — Live in Minutes

Until recently, getting a building onto AmenityResy required a conversation with us. We'd verify the property, set up amenities, invite admins. It worked, but it was slow.

Now you can do all of that yourself.

Walk through a five-step wizard at **/get-started** and you're live the moment your card is confirmed:

  1. Property name and timezone
  2. Buildings (one or many)
  3. Amenities per building (gym, rooftop, laundry, etc.)
  4. Optional shared amenities for multi-building portfolios
  5. Review and pay — 90-day free trial, cancel anytime

The dashboard is provisioned the second the payment confirms. No call. No demo. No waiting on us.

If you're a resident frustrated with how your building handles amenities, point your manager at AmenityResy. They can be set up before lunch.

Multi-Building Portfolios + Shared Amenities

A single AmenityResy account can now own multiple buildings under one billing relationship — one client, many properties.

That unlocks a feature property managers kept asking for: **shared amenities**. Pick a gym, rooftop, or coworking space and open it to residents across every building in the portfolio. One amenity, many buildings, zero coordination overhead.

Inside any building view, residents now see a toggle: **Building amenities · Shared amenities · All**. Their building's gym sits next to the rooftop they share with the building down the street, and a clear "Shared" tag tells them which is which.

This is the feature that turns AmenityResy from a single-building tool into a portfolio-grade platform — without the enterprise price tag.

Optional Booking Fees with Stripe Connect

Some amenities cost the building money to operate. Guest suites that need cleaning. Party rooms with extra wear. Reserved parking. Reserved spa hours.

Now you can charge for them.

Connect a Stripe account, set a per-amenity fee, and residents pay at booking time. Funds route directly to your bank — AmenityResy doesn't touch the money. If a resident cancels, the refund happens automatically.

Turn it on for the amenities that need it. Skip it entirely if you don't charge. There's no separate processor, no extra integration, no hidden fee.

A Better Experience on Every Screen

We did a lot of UI work too:

  • Wider monitor support. On a 27" display, your amenity grid now lays out three across instead of leaving half the screen empty.
  • Consistent dashboard layout. Every page in the resident and admin app shares the same left margin and visual rhythm. Less visual noise, easier to scan.
  • Pill-shaped buttons everywhere. Small thing. Adds up.
  • Cleaner amenity cards in a building view. Two per row on most screens; the right amount of space for the right amount of info.

What This Means for You

If you're a **building manager** who's been putting off solving the amenity problem because the existing tools were enterprise-priced or required hardware: you're out of excuses. Self-serve signup, no setup costs, $1 per unit per month plus a $5 monthly service fee. Set it up tonight, your residents get it tomorrow.

If you're a **resident** whose building still uses paper sign-ups, group chats, or "first come first served": you don't have to wait. Send your building manager the link to **amenityresy.com/get-started** and tell them it takes ten minutes to set up. The transparency you want costs your building less than a single move-out.

What's Next

A few things on the roadmap:

  • - Native iOS and Android apps (the web version already works on every phone, but apps are coming)
  • - More export and reporting tools for property managers
  • - Internationalization for the buildings outside the US that have started signing up

We ship every week. Subscribe to the blog or check back here for updates.

Our promise has always been the same: give residents the transparency and convenience they deserve, at an affordable price, with a setup process that respects everyone's time. These updates push us closer to that.
